Hi Friends,
We have installed a manufacturing plant at Uttarakhand. There is a confusion about conditions for having a Standing Orders, definition of WORKER also not very much clear, some basic questions are as below in this regards
1. what is the mini strength of workers for submitting Standing orders
?
2. should we consider roll employee only or casual/contract workers/security/housekeepers etc. should also be considered?
3. Do shopfloor engineers/managers and other office/store/sales staff come under this category?
I request forum to share the facts.
Regards
Sanjeev

Hi In Haryana minimum strength is 50 employees, but not include managerial, supervisor, contractor employees. In Uttrakhand may be 100, pl study the rules.
Hi sanjeev, Do u get any information regarding the queries u raised. If yes please share. Regards Himanshu
