Myself Karthika. I was working with one manufacturing company. I want to ask many companies keep their attendance cycle either 26th to 25th or 16th to 15th or 21st to 20th, but all salary calculations take place as per calender month like 1st to 30th or 1st to 31st? Why salary cycle is kept as per calender month and not as per 26th to 25th or 16th to 15th ?
Waiting for your reply.

Dear Karthika,
Salary cycle is required to kept as per calender month due to the reason that while salary processing we need to consider the presence and leaves of that particular month only. So if the salary cycle is kept as per the calender month the salary of that particular month will reflect properly the leaves, absence, presence.
Some companies keep the salary cycle as 26th to 25th it is due to the company policy to disburse the salaries strictly on 1st of the month.
