As an Asst HR Manager i'm asked to draft leave policy in my company. This is an graphics and animation company and due to target deadlines we are not able to give or employees half day leaves or Saturdays half day or leave, and most of the employees are not in the home town, so how can i draft leave policy in order to satisfy my employees.

Dear Garima , Can you tell me how many types of leave you provide to your workers. I means how many CL , SL and any other type of leave you provide to your worker.

You need to appearing your intelligence and thought about same. And i am sure you can find out best solution for same.
If I have facing same type of situation then I am simply to share same with my employees and tell we provide to your leave after target deadlines. so all of you not any demand for taking leave.
In another ways you can pay leave in the form of Cash benefit.

You can fix few no of leaves as Sick leaves and Casual Leaves. These leaves shouldn't be carried forward to the next year.
In addition to this, based on the employees total yrs of service in the company, you could introduce another leave type, which accrues monthly or half yrly and it could be carried forward or en cashed at the end of each year.

thanks Amit but if if they complete the target their should be such pocily that they can take the half day leave but boss don't think in the same way. i'm really confused how to satisfy both.

Conduct a meeting with Boss and explain same.
And noted you are Asst. Manager HR not any other. so Identify your self and conduct meeting with Management display full picture i am sure management take decision in your favour.

With in a year a employee have SL= 7,CL=7,EL=total working day/20 and National Festival/ Holidays-9.
