Dear All,
I am new in HR field and doing an HR course from Indsearch ,pune . I have recently joined a company with an HR position , I am the only person handling HR activities in my company . My comapny is basically an manufacturing unit with employee count around 70 people including workers in factory . Nothing is much organised over here and everything needs to be streamlined. even people are not being issued appoinment letter, confirmation letters ..so i need a small help from everybody out there ...as what is needed for an HR person to start with in such a company... i need formats for appoinment letter , confirmation letter , releasing format ...i am handling everything that is salary..bonus..recruitment...performance appraisal...so if all of you have any HR material regarding these ..please do attach with your reply .

Dear Anuja,
I cannot provide you the templets but few suggestions I would give you.
1. Try to have a biometric attendance system that has all employees details which is required for HR.
2. Have document management system(It will have appointment, salary, offer confirmation etc...) which is 100% paper less concept. The software will be available now in India.
3. Send motivational Quotes everyday to employees so that they will have an idea about HR Exist.
4. Try to send mail of B'day, festivals and Main occasions.
5. Do some activities like management games and etc...
6. Try to organize Management Review Meetings for all department by coordinating with all departmental heads every month. This will give you more idea about company people and their trend of thoughts. This will help you in reforming and introducing HR policies and procedures.

Could anyone of you help in writing about social security. what are the matters which will come under social security. I have little idea but any one of you who completed your manuals may having better idea than me. please share.

how do you feel about the systems going on in your college ? I heard that your college campares everything to Pune University MBA dept facitities and structures. well , I too am in HR and I feel your query can be answered better if you ask help from some HR consultancy form on the lines of salary..bonus..recruitment...performance appraisal. Try getting fund from company for it. Performance appraisal is highly subjective but other details that you demanded may be available much easily as they go by the Employee handbook and HR policy book .
