Hi,
Found this site very usefull and thought i could get an answer over here.
I quit my previous job from about last 5 months and had been looking for another job.
Now when i have found one the previous Employer wants me to write a letter that all the dues and salaries have been paid and he has no dues left on me and he asked me to get it notarized, and i have no problem in writing and giving it to him
So can anyone help me with a draft stating that all salaries have been paid and dues have been cleared.

1. what made the previous employer now after 5 months such letter?
And should be notarised, why?
2. Did you receive all dues payable by your previous company.
3. If so send a letter to that effect.
To
Received an amount of Rs. _________________ (Rupees______________) towards full and final settlement of my dues payable by M/S ____________________, _______________ as detailed hereunder.
a. Unpaid salary for the period: Rs.
b. Settled TA BIlls etc.:
c. Leave encashment for the days as on date: Rs.
( Balance EL + accrued till date of leaving, if any.:
d. Gratuity Settlement: Rs.
e. Any other dues: Rs.
Total:
No dues are payable by me to the Company or by the Company to me.
Hence this letter.
