Dear All,
I am working in FMCG sector and typically in Manfacuring Loaction with Generalist HR profile. My management wants to initate reward & recoginition policy for all permanenet employees and workers.
They want me to start with Best Employee of the Unit and Best Worker of the unit. Since I have worked on performance parameter for production unit viz production, wastage (%) and productivity alongwith their absent. Since the operation of particular unit is very large, they do not have data on such parameter. Data building takes long time. And without taking objectivity into policy, we shall not reach to objective of policy. Otherwise that will lead into dissatisfaction amonng team.
Hence, I seek your help How start with the simple parameter to enable me to declare best employee or best worker of the unit. Skill sets of employee & workers are vary.

Dear Mehul,
You may design a template which included following parameters ; -
1) Initiative
2) Team work
3) punctuality
4) Innovation
5) Discipline
6) Grooming
7) Job Knowledge etc.,
You may ask the Departments to fill in this template with rating between 1-5 & accordingly you can obtain the best employee of the month.
