can anyone tell me how many pages a newsletter should consists of??. OR what is the maximum/ minimum number of pages a newsletter should have ?
Dear Bijaya, It depends upon your content of the news letter . what u want to have in it .Do u want to release it weekly or monthly or quarterly Regards Shubha.G
Hi Bijaya,

If you are talking about Internal Employee new letter...I have got some tips from you. I am handling our Internal Employee News Letter in My current role.

You can go with A3 size news letter.

First page should contain achievements for that month in your organization. Like if there is any recognition program in your organization like Star Performer for the month...a small and good write-up on the performer of the month. A write-up on a department every month.

The Interesting article would be "Know Your colleague".....Interview any of your old employees or loyal employees or delivering employees...try to reveal their inner side and personal side. You can go with "Corporate Hero" article. A write-up on any of the corporate gaints like Ray crok from Mc. Donalds, Sunil Mittal of Bharti, Shiv nadar of HCl like so. You can have "corporate Cartoon" also birthday wishes for the employees, News from the organization can be an article where in which you can keep your employees updated regarding any of the colleague's marriage or birth of any child in your employee's family or prayers and wishes for something wrong that happens with any of your colleagues and like so.

Rest, you think some on your own and you can always depnd on some fillers like Health Tips or horoscope or some jokes whatever.

Last but not least, you can invite your employees fo0r contributions like shayaris or short stories or what ever.

Hope, this will be of som help to you.

regards,

Kiran.
Hey Shubha,
This is real interesting. I was just browsing through the pps and found it very interesting. I am in the process of filling in "news" and thought I'd use it actively as we dont have any kind of internal communication in this new work place I have just joined.
A very useful tool. thanks!
Vidya

Hey guys, I now got the responsibility of preparing the newsletter in my vertical too. But am completely new to this part. The newletter actually should not be like the word document. I guess it should be like some presentations like navigating through with animations etc., Am really not sure how to make such newletterc. Can anyone here help me out please.
Hi, How about e-zines or newsletters in emails?? How can I make one and send it to all the employees?
It sounds very interesting Kiran explained. I consider to have smthg like this newsletter in our organization too. If there are any samples of newsletters or interview options, please, send me too.
Thank you.

Hi,
If you had searched the web, you would have found the answers at company newsletters examples - Google Search
Simhan
Dear Shruti, and others
I am attaching herewith the newsletter that I take out every month.
The points to remember:
1. Have a short, crisp and catchy name for your newsletter
2. Take 2-3 more people and form an editorial team. Never take single-hand responsibility to publish news.
3. Do not publish regularly what is available on internet. Once in a while, as a filler, it is ok.
4. Encourage people to contribute their ideas and experiences. Announce prizes.
5. Decide on some regular features and stick to a format.
6. Prepare the contents keeping yourself into the shoes of employees.
7. Keep taking feedback, formally or informally, so that you can improve your newsletter.
Good luck.
Prashant

Hi All, I need to prepare a short story for a start up company (5 months) old come, can any body help me plss.. Regards RG
Hi Shruthi,
Can you clarify the purpose of the newsletter, industry/sector and the audience please?
I have worked on conceptualizing and creating content for corporate newsletters, and find the reference to animations a bit confusing.
