Dear Raj Sir
I have been selected for written exam for the position of HR Executive in a famous conglomerate. What subject matters I might have to answer? can you please tell me? It is an emergency,my exam is on 19th April.

nasu

Dear Nasu

Your location is given as Bangladesh.

Therefore, I would suggest that you brush up your knowledge on the Laws and legal provisions including the Rules which contain the forms and formats, Registers to be maintained, Returns which need to be file periodically etc.

Brush up your Textbooks and written notes. Nothing in the Written Test will be beyond what you have studied. that holds for the HR as a subject.

There can be questions on current events or general Knowledge as well. Take time to refresh your memory on whatever events you had come across in a year, and supplement it with some readings on current events and personalities in news.

Do keep yourself updated on the business and economic scenario in your country and the world; the latest employment trends etc.

I hope you have a PGDM or an MBA, so it would not be too difficult to get through the Interview, post Written Test.

An interviewer can ask anything under the sun, and an appropriate answer does not mean a complete and a correct response. Admitting your lack of knowledge gracefully, is also a good response which is appreciated by the interview panel.

Take responsibility of your action or failures, and do not hold others responsible for what you were not able to do or achieve.

Even if you do not know or remember much; this is not the time to feel nervous or anxious about it.

Hope you find the above tips, helpful.

Warm regards and best wishes.
