Hi Vivek,
I think the following measures could be helpful upto some extend to reduce the recruitment cost in the org.
- Avoid job agencies for recruitment.
- If at all the recruitment team is large in number, you can downsize the numbers and keep the potential employees in the team.
- If you are often placing job ads in the newspapers... probably you can reduce/avoid that for time being.
- Encourage internal referral, if possible you can increase the referral commission in spite of pay huge some money to the job agencies.
- If you are using multiple job portals you can keep one or two best protals, becasue these day you can find the same profile in more than two protals.
