Plz. refer to your company LTA policy.
My previous concern gave me only after a three day leave & I had to submit my bills. I even submitted the car bill.
(I had been outstation with my family booking a car a two days trip)

Dear Khyat,
For claiming LTA one needs to be a part of the trip. It does not matter if wife and children are dependent or not. you can claim for them as well but you definitly need to be a part of the trip.
one needs to take at least 3 days leaves to avail Tax exempted LTA.

Hi Kyat,
It depends from comany to company....
in my company, one has to show 5 working days leave to claim LTA. and yes
the employee has to be part of the trip while claiming the amount.

In my Company i have applied for LTA since In last year i have worked only 217 days,
management is saying that you cant apply for LTA since you have not completed 240 working days in last year.
They granted me 7 Pl on prorata basis ( as per company policy employee should take minimum 6 days PL for claiming LTA )
please tell me whether im eligible for LTA or not
as well as for Gratuity & bonus also
