need to knw how Workplace bullying issue is dealt with in india.. and what should be d right way to deal wid it?
and what one can do if one has already left the organisation .. because of d same.but the indirect/ off the job bullying continuous through phones., emails[anonymous], bad(UNTRUE) reviews by seniors...

I chose to quit my last job I was in rather than fight a bully at work. I'm unemployed now and suffering for it because the bully is giving me bad (untrue!) references when I do get an interview. But while I was there, everyone was too afraid to be next on the hit list to say anything. I didn't have the money or the internal stamina to fight it.
This was such a complicated issue for me, proving subtle , unbearable verbal attack was really difficult...
Bullies are so good at influencing/convincing others and misinterpreting your actions ,and abusing their powers. bullies just gang up agnst you. they were so unfair to me...when i tried to take up d issue to mgnt bullies started spreading disgusting rumours abt me. this was so hurtful , unbearable. i was not even in a position to argue for my rights. I was doing good on the job, even earned Performance Linked Incentives but my abilities/achievements were doubted upon. this was like somebody back stabs you... leaves you hurt and speechless with shock. one can see the physical wound but very few can understand the psychological wound... .... i need help to come out of this state it's been over 2 yrs I am still unemployed....

Kindly reply ... I need help to move on with my life...

I see three points in your message, please help me understand it better.
  1. You are being given negative reference continuously
  2. You are managing a transition
  3. You are looking for a job since last 2 years.
Firstly, since you are aware of the negative reference, how long is this employment been at that organization and how much did it add on to your professional capabilities? If I am not wrong, you did not work for a long duration, might be six months or less. Please do let me know about this. I am sure you have better relations with leader in your earlier experiences. Can you request for a letter of recommendation from anyone of them?

Secondly, Transition needs approach. There are too many challenges, which may not have been imagined or is visible, yet it builds on to your morale. How are you managing it?

Thirdly, the duration that you have not worked, have you volunteered or added any certification ? Could you consider any measure such as going for a further education?

Looking forward to hear from you.
