Hi,
With respect to ESI the associate would be eligible for medical facilities in the hospitals tied with the ESI of the state.
also as per the act if the accident happened during the course of the job and resulted in terperory disablement then the associate can claim for sickness benefits.
You can get in touch with the HR of your company and get the same facilitated.

Kavita has explained the things very nicely.. but apart from this one more facility he will get and that is Salary of those days, if don't have any with the Organisation then will get the salary of those non-working days from ESI office.
And it is almost half of the Basic.. for each day..

Respected Members I want to add few more points in it.
There are lot of benefits in ESIC but you should have to know about it.
You must insure that after accident your company has completed accident book and intimated to respective Local office with 24 hours. Without the intimation to the L.O. you can not get the sickness benifet and also temporary disablement benefit.
You must keep photocopy of all correspondence and forms received from ESI deptt. and also write a note of everyday happening.
These will help you, in case of any problem.

Dear Rajendra,
In that case accident report prepared by HR deptt. will be deposited to ESI along with other documents. The employees needs to be admitted with any of the nearest hospital if ESI dispensary is far off, and to be shifted within 24 hrs.The ESI inspector will counter check and one's he's assured the cost will be beared by the ESIC and the time / days taken to recover medically will be paid by ESIC, the payment would be done at the rate of half day's wages.
