Dear ameetchandan
Welcome to CiteHr.com !!!
Please elaborate on your query with dates :
What was the date of your resignation/notice ?
What was the date of release requested ?
What is the Notice period ?
What appears from your query, as submitted, is that the organization is not doing anything wrong by releasing you on the date requested by you; so where is the question of any notice pay being given to you ?
Warm regards.

Dear Ameethchandan,
Normally why company asks for notice period because it requires time to recruit a candidate in place of a employee resigning.
You cannot serve notice period unless your employer asks to do so.

Sir,
I have served the notice dt: 23/09/2010 as per norms I have to sent notice before 30 days of resignation. But the company release me on the notice date i.e. 23/09/2010.
So my query is that, will company pay my september month's salary and notice period amount. Because if I direct put my resignation, they must ask regarding notice period.
So, kindly suggest which amount I am eligible. My salary attendance cycle is 25th to 25th of every month.
Regards
Ameet
