The OD is the most challenging part of the HR process and re-engineering. Here you need to evaluate the jobs, classify the jobs, analysis the gaps, prepare the jd for everyone, map the competencies. So many back ground works you need to do along with finanical datas and budget plans.

OD is all about the change process. There will be lot of resistence for the change form culture, People etc. Handeling effectively is what u learn in OD. Very important and intrusting.

OD is a changing Process... the who involves in changing process is known as changing agent... some sort of training will be given to a person or a employee, in order to over come the problem he/she is facing...
Training Programmes like ... Six Sigma, 4s, Kaizen... etc, and to over come the changes in the behaviour... psychotherapy, counselling, or job rotation etc ... will be implemented....
OD play a crucial role in the development of organization...
