I had joined a company as Trainee, after 2.5 months i was made permanent employee. I left the company after exactly 5 years of completion from the joining date as Trainee (if considering from the permanent employment date it is 4yr 9mth 15 days). Will I be eligible for the Gratuity. There was a thread going on to say that the Gratuity eligibility is 4yr+240days.
Please advise.

Thanks a lot for the reply essykkr.
On asking for Gratuity from the previous employer, they said that they need to get the details from the Auditors on the same.
I had shared across the Madras HC verdict on edibility of the gratuity.
Can some one explain what is to do with the Auditors here.
