Hi All,
I am working as HR in a small company . We have consultancy and software development division. Currently we do not have any breakup for the salaries paid below Rs. 10,000 PM.
Can u pls send me the salary slip format (computer generated) without the breakup ?

Dear Suchitra,
If you don't want to show the break-up in the salary then put the entire Salary amount in Basic and leave other components as Blank.
Vijey has given a good format of Salary Slip, the only thing you have to do is put the entire amount as Basic and leave other components as blank or delete them. While other side only deduct professional tax, I don't think there is a provident fund deduction in your firm.
Most of the Break-ups are given for Taxation purpose. for Eg:
Medical - Rs. 1250/- tax exempt for 1 month - Annual 15000/-
Conveyance - Rs. 800/- tax exempt for 1 month - Annual 9600/-
HRA - Based on the rentals and calculations there is tax exempt
Basic - is shown less so that too much provident fund is not deducted (12% of basic)
I hope this has solved your query to a certain extend.

Dear Suchitra,
As mentioned by Tina, there cannot be any salary slip for consolidated pay.i understand that there is no PF .In case of request by the employee a letter can be given stating the pay and also the purpose of the letter.
