Appologies for the posting. Actually my collegue raised the Q and I was not aware about Term, "prossessing tax" (which now I come to know, doesn't exist) so I posted the same query & later she cleared it that she was talking about the Professional Tax, which I later explained to her.
This all was basically due to mis-communication. Really sorry to take your time.
Thank You!!

First you need to apply for a PT Number & Registration. It takes a couple of months to get the number depending on the state you are applying in. Once you get the PT Number then You can get the Professional Tax Challan from any Stationary Shop or download from the net or from the official state govt tax sites. Fill the Challan. You can pay it Monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly or Annually. You need to fill the the totals according to the PT Slabs for your state. Please check the PT Slabs for your state by searching on this site itself or on the net. A cheque drawn in favour of SBI alongwith the challan needs to be deposited at the bank. There is a lot of information avialable on Cite HR on PT which you can go through as a guide on the same..........rgrds

i thing it is professional tax...
Professional tax calculation purpose "salary or wages" includes pay, or wages, dearness allowances and all other remuneration received by any assessee on regular basis, whether payable in cash or kind and also includes requisitions and profits in lieu of salary as defined in section 17 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, but does not include bonus in any form and on any account or gratuity.
So PT is not applicable on bonus.
