HI
You should have clear strategy to deal with your own employees and the contractual workers as well. All the statutory compliance and ESIC, PF documents should be followed. Minimum wages act, Contract Labor Act, Building and Other Construction workers Act etc to be followed. Ensure that your contractual worker are also complied with all these laws and you should ensure that they are paid as per minimum wages act and you should keep the record of every documnets belongs to your contractual workers also.

Hi,
In costruction company you have to focus on some basic things-
1. Make a standard attendence policy in your office as well as site of working.
2. Discuss with management how will you pay your employees. Most of the construction companies have no any salary structure and pay casualy according to the total working days of each individual.
3. Make your organisation structure and hirarchy level. And find out if any shortage in manpower.
4. Make the salary breakup for each individual.
Then you can go for other issues like- PF, ESI, Insurance, Bonus etc.
Be communicate with the site incharges and try to get the upperhand.
