It is always a very important issue in almost all the companies that some of the key employees change their job frequently and it is a big problem for the Management to retain them becuase of somany issues. My question is how to plan as HR person to retain they key personnel in the company. If you offer immediately double of his salary or something will work out, but as a career plan, we should have some kind of planning to retian the key employees. Please have a brainstorming on this

Nowadays, key personnel are leaving due to the fact of over-loading of responsibilities. Endeavour to balance their work load.
Introduce some sort of ESOP or retention bonus with lock-in period.

Dear Friend,
Retention is not a one day activity! It happens from the day a new employee join hands with the company. It covers, from Induction-Deployment-Outcome (I.DO). Its I.DO activity which regulates an employees stay with in organization. Proper Induction, Deployment, Training, Employee Engagement, WLB, Counseling, Appraisals, Work Environment, Reporting Authority, Grievances and so on!
So my friend, in an organization we need not those who work for money, but for career, learning and growth!
Any clarifications, please get back to me!
