Dear all my colleagues
I am a admin officer in kutch (gujarat) based pvt Company and My qus is that our legal consultant ask me that industrial Employment (standing order) act is applicable only to government undertaking company not applicable to pvt company is it true?
pls reply me argently I am waiting for your reply

it’s applicable in all factories....government undertaking & pvt as well..senior HR’s pls comment..

it's applicable in all factories,government undertaking & pvt where 100 or more employee's working in company they should aplicabal of Standing Order.

Dear Mr. RR Pound,

Yes you are right but it’s not applicable in all state… as per Act Every industrial establishment where in 100 or more (in many state it is 50 or more.) any industry covered by Bombay industrial Relation Act.1946. Industrial establishment coverd by M.P. industrial employment (Standing Order Act,1961)
