Hard work vs. long work long work is what the lawyer who bills 14 hours a day filling in forms does. hard work is what the insightful litigator does when she synthesizes four disparate ideas and comes up with an argument that wins the casein less than five minutes. long work has a storied history. farmers hunters factory workers... always there was long work required to succeed. for generations there was a huge benefit that came to those with the stamina and fortitude to do long work. hard work is frightening. we shy away from hard work because inherent in hard work is risk. hard work is hard because you might fail. you can t fail at long work you merely show up. you fail at hard work when you don t make an emotional connection or when you don t solve the problem or when you hesitate. i think it s worth noting that long work often sets the stage for hard work. if you show up enough and practice enough and learn enough it s more likely you will find yourself in a position to do hard work. it seems though that no matter how much long work you do you won t produce the benefits of hard work unless you are willing to leap.

I work as a hr in an organization from 8 months. i work 6 days a week and i also come to work on sun if i have work. i have got an opportunity to work for an ngo as a volunteer every sat. as i would not have any work to do so i discussed with my boss if i can take sat & sun weekly off but they are not willing to give me sat & sun off. is there any other way i can make them understand about the situation.

Workforce relates to specifically to labour class which has mostly physical work rather than mental work. man power means all work including physical and mental work more specific executive work and labour work.
Cold work permit
Dear seniors today i am implementing work permit system in my facility the following are the permits: hot work permit work at height permit excavation work permit confined space entry permit safety system bypass permit electrical work permit along with these the associated documents "electrical isolation" and "compressed air isolation" are also introduced. now my question is what is "cold work permit" ? it is an metal working company. pls. advise. its urgent. thanks in advance. regards ssm
Over time calculation for 6+2 hours
Dear all in tirupur garment sector most of the factories work 8 hours plus another 1 to 2 hours over time work on daily basis based on their requirements. this extra work is paid at premium rate too. the regular work hours is normally from 9.0 am to 5.30pm. in few cases workers report at work at 11.0am work 6 hours a day and then after 5.30 pm they work 2 hours till 7.30pm. here the worker is not completed 8 hours of regular work. any work more than 8 hours is considered as over time work and in this case since the worker is not completed 8 hours work the question of premium rate is not raised. right..? my query is in this case do we need to pay over time wages at premium rate for this extra work or regular pay for 8 hours is enough for the work he/she rendered from 11.0am to 7.30pm..? kindly advise.
