Dear All,
I have some query regarding leave as per laws. I want to know that if a person has taken leave from monday to saturday with the prior information or leaves are sanctioned, when we calculate leave at that point of time we should condsider 6 days, 7 days or 8 days.

It should be 6 days. However if sunday is a working day in lieu of something then you have to report on sunday. In case you do not report on sunday then the leave counted would be 7 days.
As per your Post you are saying leaves are sanctioned. it means you have leave application for same, it means you know about how much leave he want to take.
So Please tell me where you have Confused.

The confusion arises because some companies try to usurp and deny their employees fair entitlement to leave.
Normally, say, if there are 6 working days in a week (no Saturday off); then an employee proceeding on approved leave for the whole week is absent on only 6 working days - the prefix and suffix Sundays being normal Weekly Offs.
However, we are coming across several responses from members that their company counts the leave as 8 days and accordingly deducts 8 days from the leave balance. (It is unfair to say the least.)
The wide prevalence of such system, is creating the confusion, as mentioned by arpan.satya in the post.
Though the prefix and suffix Sundays are normal Weekly Offs but still in some organisations the suffix sunday would come under this that case you should calculate leave for 7days...
Dear sir, I want to know that if the emloyee absent whole month after the one week working. In the salary calculation, four sunday will be calculated as in the Salary or not.
Only the prefix Sunday will be a paid weekly off and for rest of the Sunday he will not get the u can calculate one Sunday as weekly off and for remaining three Sunday u cannot pay him as he is absent for rest of the month.
