This is the hr policy..the goal of the hr department is to put right person in the right place and at the right time. if a person is not able to perform firing is not the solution the right hr system emphasize on retention so employees' issues are need to be taken seriously and their problems need to be discussed. the hr needs to put the person in the right comfort zone in order to discuss his problems with the work environment or the work culture. always remember a happy worker is an efficient worker. if the hr is himself the right person in the right place he will definitely put the right people in right job at the right time.
Left alone in department with no hr experience
Dear seniors my situation is such that i was recruited by a very senior hr person of the company who had was excellent in the olicies etc. when i joined the company he told me that look you are a fresher but i am selecting you because i fell you can do what i ask you to do. he was also handling other production and sales responsibilities also he got busy there he was hardly able to give attention to hr and i was left with no task. i wish to inform you that i am a very create person my md use to like my presentation leaflets branding ideas i use to give in short my md was impressed with my work but the work was no where related to hr on the other hand my hr boss suddenly resigned and i was left alone. i thought my role is over but no one remove me from the job. but i am really left with no work. my company is not that keen in making any investment in human resources i really don t know what to do i am left all alone. can anyone suggest what i should do because i am really feeling as i want to work i want to and i want to i am totally confused. regards mrs. vichare

Returned back from maternity leave
Hello i am working as an executive hr/admin in a corporate company. i went for maternity leave & came back to office after 84 working days. meanwhile our head recruited a person in my place. now i am back but they had not assinged my work back. they were assining me another person s work who is resinged. i am not at all intrested in that work. i asked my head to assing my work what i did before maternity. but they were not accepting. is this good? plz suggest how to get my work & work place back.

Hi hr members we have a person similar to office boy who works for us on a requirement basis like visiting banks etc. we ask him to come for work as and when there is a requirement. we pay him monthly in the mode of cash 56 k varies based on the amount of work. there is no contract/engagement between this person and our organization. is such a person considered or deemed an employee or he falls in any other category? appreciate it if someone can guide me on this.
