Hi,
As per My suggestion you should involve with the employee in each and every aspect of their life, like their internal and external problem. Try to solve or guide them how to do.Through this you will collect the employee belief and always motivate them with other things like awards, picnic, internal communication, parties etc.

Dear Anjana
Every one of the staff should see you as their friend. They must feel that tyou are there to take care of their problems, grievances related to the work. This will be deveoped gradually when you will interact with them. Greet them, pay attention to their discussion with you, seek their suggestions, make them feel they all are a team.
Believe this always works.

As you would know that a working environment can be strainus if there are no new initiatives implemented, thus employees turn to be less productive as nothing excite them, although it must be taken into consideration that organisations are places to work, but as this is were we spent much time of our lives, a menu should be changed. my suggestion would be that once or twice in a year employees must be engaged onto team building excercises, whereby they will be taken out of the office environment for some couple of days, there they will learn to know each other better and communication will therefore improve amongst employees. another way would be that introduce a system of recognising employees, that would be by means of commendations for good work done, whereby you would issue letters of appreciations, or reward them for high performance, that will bring an exciting competition, it is further imperative to recognise their birthdays, whereby you will prepare some sort of gifts to issue to an employee to recognise his or her birthday. Another way would be to hold meetings with employees and strive to establish and recognise individual problems, in that way they will start to open up and realise that they organisation don`t just utilise them for production, but have a sense of care of its employees. you must take into cognisance that employees are like kids, the more you recognise their contributions, a little pat on the back will do you good, thus warmness and excitment within the office will commence to be visible. Finally let them know how much the organisation value them as employees, this relates to what I have mentioned above where I said reward and recognise them.

I hope this will assist you.
