I have a quary about the provision of of Creaches under the Provision of Creaches under Factory Act and Bombay Shop and Establishment Act
How many woman employees are required to comply above provision and at which type of Factory and Office it is necessary.

In general we have not seen this provision. Moreover to be on safer side you may go through the applicable State Shops & Establishment Act regarding the applicability of this facility.

Let me modify my querry, Is creche a requirement for IT Industry & BPO where substantial No. of women are employed. Also how to comply with sec 11 (on Nursing) of maternity act in case Creche is not available near work site.
Is Creche is now Mandatory for all Companies (IT & ITES)? Is there any notification on the same.
Hi,
Creche facility requires every establishment with 50 or more employees to provide
crèche facilities within a prescribed distance. The woman will be
allowed four visits to the crèche in a day. This will include her
interval for rest.
