Dear All, We have a superannuation age of 60 years. But we wish to give the driver an extention should it be done? Will it set a bad precedence for other staff. Thanks Regards Crystalrosification
Seniors or anybody who knows please help !!! This could be a new idea as there is not much on extention on this site....
please help .... I’m sure smbody might have had a driver who applied for an extention of service. Are there any rules or is it merely company policy that prevails
Hi,
It is merely the company policy that prevails. However do not give an extension.
It would be logical to conclude his services, settle all his accounts including applicable PF and gratuity.
Also you need to check if his license would be valid an his medical fitness as after 50 years the person needs to get tested for medical fitness once in five years.
Then you may give him one year contract on a consloidated salary.
kind regards
Dayanand
