Extended working hours only for specific employees - how to handle?
Hi all i need guidance based on below incident. everyday i work form 9:00 am to 6:00 pm regular shift. on monday i have been forced to do extended shift. i had done all the work assigned to before leaving for home. because i others are continuing to work i have been asked to extend the shift till 9:30 pm. before taking this role i have explained the site leader sr. manager and team leader that i have at 6:00 pm everyday as i have to reach home to take care of my daughter who is 5 years old. however they forced me to stay back. the other 4 people from the team who usually comes at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm time daily they were continuing the work. out of these 4 3 are diversity candidates and 1 is male candidate. even though i explained them the situation i have been forced to stay and continue my work. i am observing this from last 1.5 year that diversity candidates are not at all been pointed for any issues or escalations. whereas male candidates always faced the shouting and blaming. because these 4 peoples are coming late to office i have been forced to extend the work. i am really worried how i can sort this out. whether i can escalate to sr. leadership? i am really not sure if i can reach to hr as hr closely works with the leadership?

Office timings control
Dear all i work as an hr in maruti dealership. my major concern involves employees office timings. our office timings are from 9:45 am 6:30 pm but there are hardly any employees who come on time when asked they bluntly respond by saying we stay late in the night you cannot expect us to be on time. some cases are really genuine & some just stay late to kill time. among the employees who stay late few are mandatorily required to be on time the next day but is not the case here. my query here is what should we do to control such employees? please help thanks & regards maya
