Good that you are searching for a mentor. However, you could have told us what is your qualification, what industry you work in, what is the length of your service, what are your career aspiration etc. You can learn about various HR related work like compensation and benefits, statutory activities etc while at work itself. You choose a right company where all these activities are handled. Few things that you learn on job that your Mentor won't teach you. I could have become your mentor but for our different locations.
In the meanwhile, you can plan your own career. You start participating various public workshops as and when these are conducted at Chennai.
