1. License is required for storage , QTY is computed for stored one and Not for "IN USE " One.
2. Law is silent on manifold numbers , But if connected to manifold then that must be "In use " and it should not use as a storage place by keeping valves close.

I need one LGP commercial Cylinder for our factory for welding type job, what law says to store the LPG Cylinder. please any one reply
LPG gas max storage capacity will be 100KG. More than 100 KG we have to obtain Fire License .
Factories storing more than 100 kg of LPG gas in cylinders is required to obtain a licence. But the licence is not required where LPG cylinders directly connected to the manifold provided manifold is designed as per guidelines of IS 6044 part 1. Please refer to the attachment.

Cylinders connected to manifold are treated as in use and no licence is required. Pl refer attached clarification from the Govt in this regard.
