Hi,
Friends who are interested in this topic, can get more information from Businessballs free online learning for careers, work, management, business training and education: find materials, articles, ideas, people and providers for teaching, career training, self-help, ethical business education and leadership; for personal. The competency maps can not be generalized since many organization have different categories of staff & different working styles, hence the performance measurement with general map is not possible. but it can discussed with top management about their expectations & outcomes, which shall be considered as base of the same. Hope this will be useful.
I am also attaching one document (it is not mine, doenloaded from net), which serves the purpose for how to delvelop & map competencies for different categories.
