If you specify on what is the subject to be made for a policy. Policy is for each and every activities in an organization For example, Travel POlicy: it should speak about the modus-operandi, budget of the organization, entitlement, tenure etc., etc.,

HI Kutesuman,
I would like to suggest you that the HR policy differ from Company to Company even in the same Industry, however, it is good if you benchmark the policy in the same industry. You should also go through all the business legal aspects and the employment laws of state where your company is situated or hire a competent legal consultant for vetting the policy legally before implementation.
