MERIT AND SPECIAL BONUS

I. GENERAL

The Company provides incentive methods except regular review increase to encourage the employee or group of employees who conduct outstanding performance on emergent case, arduous task or significant improvement on production/business operations.

II. MERIT SYSTEM

The merit system is applied for all employees to advise of excellent conduct or outstanding work performance. There are two degrees in merit system i.e. Merit and Major Merit. Three Merits constitute one Major Merit and three Major Merits lead to a special bonus to be entitled on the employee or group of employees.

III. RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation report should be submitted by Department Manager who will describe the incident, occasion or project of the facts and the benefits to the Company resulting from the outstanding performance.

IV. REVIEW OF RECOMMENDATION

The recommendation will be sent thru formal channels to the Personnel Committee for review and General Manager will make final decision such as degree of merit or amount of special bonus.

V. PAYMENT AND RECORD

HR Department will administer the procedure of special bonus payment with appreciation letter signed by General Manager who will present the bonus letter to the employee or a group of employees personally and one copy of appreciation letter with recommendation report will put into individual personal file for record. The amount of the special bonus can be varied but generally is to be limited to a maximum of one month wage/salary.
