hi! i have the same situation my employer force me to resigned because they dont have any grounds to terminate me they told me that if i will not resign they will put a case on me so that i will be imprisoned...im afraid so i follow them i signed all the necessary documents that they needed including the resignation letter...they also sent letter to bank that i am no longer connected to them so the bank now freezes my account the thing is they deposited my last pay to that bank account which i cant access now i cant get my money the bank is asking for a termination letter so that they will unfreeze the account but i've tried to ask that from my employer but they refused...now i dont know what should i do in order to take my money and go back to my home country...please advice im currently residing in Dubai...i dont know what else to do my visa is already cancelled and im staying here illegally since i no longer have a work permit everything i have here was lost no more home no more money because ive been struggling to this problem from more than 30 days since i signed that resignation i haven't get any from compensation from that company...

What is your nationality ? I think you should approach your countries' consulate and seek help of diplomats stationed in Dubai.
