u can always go for the lean ideas for the company like for an example : quality assurance improvement, environmental issues, call monitoring etc.

Dear Sunil,
Good to see your interest for this topics. As normally people dont understand & select such project. Anyway really its good one ....
For training & develeopment if you any data for at least 1 year & its trend then you can go for Six sigma...... application
Eg.
1. Training plan Vs actual & its evaluation needs met or not
2. On job training effectiveness & its complaince ( Rating % )
So you can do a lot & lot only define what u want & meausre that's it.
Note -- Use DMAIC cycle & be careful select pain areas or need improvement areas.
regards,
SH

Dear Sunil,
To start a Six Sigma program in any process or function or department, first you have to check the trends of process metrics which is related to effectiveness i.e. training effectiveness, training feedback from participants etc. if there is no scope of improvement than you should check the metrics which is related to efficiency of this process i.e. training cost etc.
but as per my suggestion you should start the Six Sigma project only when some pain area lies in any process ( Dont just start any Six Sigma project to show Six Sigma existence !).....most important thing....Process owner's buy in......

Hi,
It’s good that you are taking an inicative to do a six sigma green belt project. As far as my experience is concern you should always keep one thing in your mind and that is the finical benefit for the company. Because six sigma is a very number driven methodology and it says about the customer satisfaction not only the customer satisfaction but the customer satisfaction with profit. First try to identify your customer and the customer CTQ. Then we can take it further.
Thanks,
