Hi seniors i have small doubt we are starting new food factory more over 23 employess are working among 23 employees 15 employee gets more than 15000 salary in this situation we could compulsarly contribute esi and pf pls advise we have decided to deduct esi only is this correct or not pls advise.

Hi all i just want to know that pf and esi is an option or complusory for everyone because one employee getting monthly salary 18k. company also deduct cab charges from the salary . but if pf and esi also deduct from salary then take home salary will be very less to survive so can employee ask employer to not deduct the pf and esi if he dont want these benefits. thanks priyanka

Hi i have some doubts to clear regarding the esi limit and contribution. if an employee s salary is 15000/ and because of declaration of lta or other deduction his salary is coming down to less than 10000/ in any of the month is it required to deduct esi ? if once esi deducted is it compulsory to deduct 6 months though his salary limit enhance above 10000/? if it is to be deducted to what extent tobe deducted whether for rs. 10000/ or if he is drawing 15000/ forrs. 15000/ we have to deduct ? please clarify regards gireesh thampi.s

Dear members do the esi rules specify that once a esi deduction is made from an employees salary you have to mandatorily deduct it for six months? the reason for my query we have recently announced increments at our workplace. this should ideally have been done end of march but was done end april. hence we paid the esi amount based on previous years salary. however after the increment a few employees have crossed the esi threshhold and are not liable for this. however we have been informed that we need to deduct the esi amount for atleast six months before we can stop. can any of you throw more light on this? thanks and regards

We r paying salaries to our employees in lumpsum. now we are planing to prepare a payslip made all statutory additons and deductions. plz give me a format so that we will prepare payslips and pay salaries to our employess. ours is a construction company. we have work force at sites and some employees in office work. we also planing to deduct pf and esi to our employees. show me a format for this purpose.
