If any one has got any ready reference for a person who is new into IT Recruitment (Microsoft technology, SAP, ABAP, java, testing, oracle etc tools and technology) or a site which can be a help to it, pls suggest me or send it to mausumipatnaik@gmail.com

hi,
For IT recruitment, the main thing to notice is the skill sets required. Also pay extra attention to the type of database & languages worked on with the primary skill. The golden rule is that never ever try to approach a candidate who is working for a bigger company and try to convince him to appear for an interview with a smaller organisation. Also check out if the candidate is trying to change his job within 6 months of joining then either he is incompetant or he cannot get along with people which means he cannot work in a team. The best candidates you'll get are the ones who are outsourced by smaller companies and work in larger companies. But you should have a fair knowledge of the skills for which you are trying to recruit. Please look up www.whatis.com to find out what is the skill for which you want to recruit.
Hope this will help you. Please let me know

Hi ,
I would suggest you to sit with the person who has given you the requriement and understans the requirement and even teh project for what the person is hired and also sit with Technical team who are going to shortlist teh profile and who are involved in taking interviews ,so that ur rejection rate will be low .

Hi ,
Using Job portal is easy the only trick is the key words you use do not narrow your search more ..........
See if your using Naukri portal you can call them to your office premises they come and will give you demo too .......
