Hi All, Can someone share the format of a warning letter to be issued to an employee who has been drinking while on official work.

It is observed against you as under :

that on----------at ---AM/Pm when you were on duty at -------m/s -----------------found that you were drunk therefore Mr.------from HR department sent you to ------------hospital for a blood test.

The aforesaid hospital has sent your blood test report wherein it was found that your blood contained---% of alcohol.

Your aforesaid act of coming drunk while on duty amounts to serious misconduct as per clause 24(f) of the Model standing orders applicable to you which read as under :

Drunkenness, riotous, or disorderly behaviour on the premises of the establishment;

24(k) Act subversive of discipline and good behaviour on the premises of the establishment

Your aforesaid misconduct is grave and serious and warrants extreme punishment of dismissal, however, the management has decided to take a lenient view this time in order to give you an opportunity to improve your conduct.

By this you are given a strong warning that should
