Some organizations these days do not issue appointment letters. In case the employees of such organizations appear for interviews elsewhere, how can they be accepted? Please suggest.

Hi there,
Any organization as per the labor law should issue an employment contract or appointment letter stating the terms of employment to the employee....
Few of the organizations just go with offer letter and do not issue an appointment letter, if a person is not issued with the appointment letter, then he can obtain a releving letter from the company which would state the joining date, end date, last drawn salary and designation.
Let me know if this information has helped you, or clarify if you need more info

Hi Everyone,
I am also facing the same issue. My company do not issue the appointment letter to those candidates whose wages are below 4150/- In this case either candidate leave the company or is frustrated by the management as they do not provide them with the appointment letter. So please suggest a solution for this.

Hi All, Yes I also agree to this Rather I am presently going through it.Actually what happened is - I cleared interview rounds for an post of Sr. Sales Executive with an very reputed Publishing House butsince the competition in publishing industry is so much high that even employers feared that this news of mine joining an competitor company will spread like fire and may be my previous company may try to bargain looking at the offer in black and white and may hence lose the candidate , hence they skipped the offer letter and intimated me the calculations verbally and also now that i have joined the their organisation since last 15 days they are still trying to delay the Appointment Letter by giving one or the other reason.Hence I request all my friends that at least you all do not fall prey to these kind of tactics and try to go forward as per the normal practices which we all have been following for ages.
