I jointed co at manegrial position on aug09 and my probation period is 6 month. My probation period should be over
by feb 10, but still it is not confirmed. when i inquired i was told that you probation is not cleared by my head.. may be he want to harrash me .
I had read that after 240 days probation get comfimred(Industrial dispute act).
Is it true secondly if it is true i can claim the salary deducted due to my leave falling after 240 days of joining.

It is true that probation is of 6 months minimum. Ur confirmation should be done on the day when u complete exactly 6 months.
Draft a mail to your reporting manager and keep cc to your Hr dept asking the reason for the delay in your confirmation process. Wait for the reply.
There has to be some reason that they are not giving you confirmation. then react accordingly.
