I am working with a call center, This call center is worst call center I have ever seen, but it is ranked 2 once by NASSCOM in 2007 i think.
this call center pay is very less when compared to the same process of the other companies.

The managers, team leader tell the employees to extend and work on weekly off also.
So I had a direct discussion with my team leader that I cannot extend or work on weekly off if the organization is not going to pay me extra money for it. I told him that you must put a request to manager. I told my team leader that I will resign if you force me to extend or work on weekly off without paying extra. but still i worked one day on weekly off which he told me to work.
my team leader told me that your attitude is not correct.

After the discussion with him, i think he complained about me to the manager, the things got changed, they started torturing me indirectly. they were speaking about my behavior and all by standing near me (indirectly) . But I managed to be silent and I was patient i said nothing about it.

After a day Manager was speaking about terminating( not with me) and didn't let me login, she told to wait until your team leader arrives, I msged team leader, the team leader didn't respond.

I thought there is some serious issue and I came off to home, I am thinkng of leaving the job, so the question is now.
If I leave the job now, will they blacklist me for NASSCOM?
because sometimes my TL was threatening employees who left company that he will blacklist to NASSCOM.

So what I have to do now?

Please guide me .........

I have a very good typing speed of 52 wpm in whole process. i am working in a non voice process.
I am an engineering student, I got year back and i am working in this time instead of wasting time.

I am not afraid, that is why i went to work after the issue, but i am afraid of it nasscom blacklisting, I don't mind murdering them as well, but I must think about my future right.
that s what I did,

In this company high politics from the employees who worked there for long years.
I think thats the reason the manager was supporting my TL.
I cannot go to HR department because they may make a new rule of resignation for me now.

Shall I just leave the job or do I need to take any actions?
I don't really like to waste the time by running around them or by filing case on them.
If I put also i don't have any proof, I am kind of employee who is punctual, I don't speak with anyone while I work, but I have good relation with employees.
In this company some employees are like they don't mind to extend and work on weekly off as well.
This company belongs to a big shot, so if I file a case also no use, the manager can change the few things and tell that they never told me to work or extend the employees are doing by their wish as some people will extend and they can tell that they never threatened me, I don't have any proof to say that they did it.

I don't think it is worth filing the case, they can prove it wrong.

Telling somebody he is afraid would not be correct in this senario. I would rather suggest u not to worry about NASSCOM thing it is complete fake. Ravishank is correct. This is your right to ask week off as this is the policy followed by known call centers if they do not give you the same ask for the policy. They torture you if you allow them feel free and walk/ talk open about the company practices find another job and take 5-10 employees with you that will probably make them feel threatened, spread the word around.
Just be aware that u can easily find a new job these days.

No one can black list you with NASSCOM. Tell your team leader you shout up . Go and talk to your HR regarding this issue. He may be doing this becuase of extra work pressure. But you HR will defietly listen to you....

No i decided i am not going in there again to company for any procedures, I will just abscond.
In the company high politics for the employees who worked there for long years.
Manager worked there for 7 years, Asst Manager for 5 years, TL for 5 years. so each one will support for themselves if they are wrong also.
Worst Management.
so I don't it is a good idea to go back and keep on running behind them, I left 15 days salary anyway, I don't need it.

Dileep,
I have one suggestion for you. Please look yourself as third person to the issue. Look at your behavior and TL and manager behavior. Based on your text, TL and Manger are poor in manage things and ask you to work on weekend and late working hours.
I think Manager behaviors because not mature in project/task management or high pressure from management or environment(office/home).

Though you discussed face to face with TL and Manager,I believe 10% of manager
will reactive positively. Remaining 90% people will be reactive negatively through direct/indirect behavior through words and silly actions.

Have you ask yourself (No need to answer in the forum)
Am I competent(in terms of skillet) to my work?
Am I interested to work?(Satisfaction level)
Can I do something to impress my manager through professionally like voluntary contribute effort to work and highlight their positive strength (when opportunity comes)?

If your time permits watch this video then Jakkuboys - The Movie on Vimeo

If nothing went well then look opportunity for smooth relieve job with new job.

I have worked in a few BPO's and there is a serous leadership failure in this industry. If you look carefully u will understand that these TL's and AM's have joined in recently and are people who could not do any thing else. Personally I would recommend u to leave the industry and put some years in education and learn from the experience and move on.
I do understand it is not as it sounds, but believe me you will see light when you will put a bit more effort. I am doing the same, i had bad experiences in my BPO career.
Take care

Hi,
I have worked as a manager in one of the call centers. You don't have to be afraid of your Manager and TL. But I suggest, that you should go back to work and properly resign if you want to work in the same field. As the organisation that you'll work for now will definitly to reference chk.
You can directly go to the HR and give some good excuse and resign on a good note:)
