Hello experts,
I am in a very critical situation,I have accepted an offer in a multinational IT company, although the offer letter doesnot mention any bond as such, but after my joining the company, the company personel asked me to undergo a simulation training related to my module and has asked me to sign a bond.
The bond value is 2lacs,and mentions the condition that-
1.If i leave the company within the mentioned period in the bond, here in case is 18 months after completing the training,I will have to pay the amount.
2.If the company terminates me on disciplinary action or violation of any guidelines mentioned during induction as per company norms then also,I will have to pay the bond value.
I have found that there are other candidates who are also undergoing the same training, but they are going for certification of the module sponsored by the company, the clause for them is same as mine, but the amount spend on them is more than that of mine,so there is a discrimination.
Again i find that they are going for background check of mine(both educational and service record) after i have joined. so i am really worried that if some negative happens with the back ground check, which is done by some third party i might lose the job as well as ,have to pay the bond value.
I am also worried because my earlier company has stoped its business operation after i left the company. So if in case there is a background check,to find out the details of my employment history in that company, the third party agent may not be able to present ,clear picture of the same to my present company,as because the previous company is closed.
Any way i am not responsible to the closure of the company,
So i am worried that should this affect my background check,or not,
and if i lose job in this ground, for which i am not responsible, still i have to pay the bond value as per the condition mentioned in the bond.
So i request you to please give me necessary advise that what should i do if such a situation happens.
Regards,
AC

You no need to wory about all these things. the verification agency will submit your report positive.Even if it submit negative, your employer will not fire you immediatly.you will be give proper opportunity to present yourself before your Employer and you can explain honestly about your past employment. and even still they fire then no need to pay bond amount, you are liable to pay only the amount which your employer has incured for your trainging actual amount.
