Yes Diploma in Labour is good but I would recommend you giving priority to hardcore HR subjects like Talent Management, Performance Management, Competency Mapping, Balance Score Card etc. HR becomes true business partner by handling these subjects.
Today the trend is shifting. The traditional functions of personnel management like payroll processing, statutory activities etc are getting outsourced. However, how can you outsource hardcore HR subjects? It is next to impossible.
Final decision is yours.

Congrats on completing two years of your service . Any MBA whether regular or correspondence requires reinforcements in learning through MDP ie, Management Development Programs. Hence please plan your MDP in the direction you would be interested in. I agree with Dinesh , thats a sound advice. Just an addition to it, while choosing for all these course please keep the assigment orientation and the pedagogy of the institute in mind. The saleblity would come from the value addition that is made through the course. All the best!
