Dear Pankaj,
1st confirm in which type of organization ur wife is working? Generally in Ltd company HR Policies r:
1. 3 Months maternity leaves available with pay.
2. After that if required 3 months leaves again availble without pay. ( By the consent of employer and employee, both).
3. Mobile Reimbursement depends on company HR policies.
Note: Pls confirm first that after how many days your wife'company starts to give maternity leaves, b'coz it differs company wise.
Hope now it'll be clear to u.

Dear Pankaj,
Going by the Maternity Benefit Act, a woman can avail 12 weeks of leave, 6 weeks prior to expected date of delivery and 6 weeks after delivery. However, it is not necessary that a woman has to avail leave 6 weeks prior to the expected date of delivery. It is left to her depending upon on her condition but it should not be earlier than 6 weeks of expected date of delivery.
For your query no. 2 & 3, it depends upon the individual company policy.
Hope this will clarify your doubts.
Regards,
Sindhe
