HW RECRUITMENT IS DIFFERENT FROM CORE HR??
I MEAN TO ASK THAT .....RECRUITMENT IS CONSIDERED AS ONE OF HR,
WE ALL UNDERSTAND IT IN THIS WAY..
BUT SOME MNC'S HAV SEPERATED BOTH ...SO I WANT THE RECENT VIEWS GOING ON IN THIS REGARD.....

I WANT TO ASK YU THAT ..CAN RECRUITER'S EXP GET ME A JOB IN HR ??
AS PEOPLE SAY THAT IF YU HAV RECRUITMENT EXP YU WUD B ABLE TO GET INTO HR LATER ...............IS IT TRUE??
I M WORKING AS A ITES RECRUITER NOW......SHALL I ALSO GATHER IT RECRUITER'S EXP...........TO GET A GUD JOB IN HR.........OR I SHALL WAIT FOR AN OPPORTUNITY AS HR EXECUTIVE/HR GENERALIST ITSELF..............

Recruitments is only a part of HR fuctions
When compared to corehr opportunities - recruitments opportunities are vast in MNC's.
So ... once you enter and get experienced, you can opt for new role in HR.
Recruitment xperience ... counts and it wud b a way to get into corehr in MNC's.
If you want to get into CoreHR then opt for the company which is having both the functions.

1. Recruitments & Selection :arrow:

4. Performance Management Systems

In simple terms Core HR includes all HR Functions
or
HR activities begin from - the employee enters into the organisation till his exit from the organisation

Hi Minakshi,
Reason of differentiation could be that recruitment is not only the job of HR proffestionals, rather it includes tech people to carry on certain technical rounds, at the most I feel that recruitment is something Mixture of all the associates to test the behaviours in differnet styles, were as other activities like competencies, performance appraisals, training needs and so on are something core Hr were other domain have no hand to carry out things.

Recruirtment is an Integral part of Human Resource. Many companies
have different recruirtment department but its not different from core
HR functions. Companies have different recruitment, Training and
development, Employee relations department. All these department
are separated on functional basis the main reason is to simplify the work
and co-ordinate with each other.
As you have experience in recruitment and on that basis you can
join company as a recruiter.
