I am a senior employee and am planning to resign from the employment and join a different company. I am following all terms of employment and am providing a right notice. However, there is a possibility of other senior colleagues who may also resign and follow me and join the new company.
Can my previous employer legally sue me for this?

From India, Thana
Citizen of India have right to seek and select employment.
Confidentiality agreement (if applicable in your case) may bar you from disclosing company's secrets / information to its competitors.
Further, you are not planning to take or lure other colleagues with you, are you?
If not then why to worry?
If others change employment on their own, why should the employer sue you?

Thanks for the response. Appreciate it.
I am not planning to lure anyone, but they will most likely follow me. My worry is that employer should not interpret it wrongly and sue me. How do I safeguard against this?
