This is to inform you that the ESI limit has been increased from 10k to 15k effective from 01st of May,2010.
Please re-calculate the manpower cost and find out the impact which has arisen due to this amendment.

The attanchment you have posted is the proposal to increase limit of ESI wages. It is issued in interest of seeking any suggessions or objections from the employers.
Please don't mind. I just wanted to correct you. Ammendment is not yet published, but will be done soon.

I got this notification from our statutory consultant saying that ESI limit has been increased from 10K to 15K.I was also shared with the notification which I have shared with you. We have already started to find out the statutory impact due to this amendment. If I am not wrong, It gonna be revised on 01st of May,2010.
I did consider this as the final notification.
Lets see if we get any other communication.
