Why U all people are un necessarily worrying about the Final Notification, As I told in my previous reply, its only a ceremonial thing only.........No change will be found in the Final Notification......Being in house person, i assure u all that enhancement of wage ceiling will be w.e.f. 1.4.10, even we are trying to change the definition of wages as Basic + D.A. like EPF, which is a lengthy procedure, it may take next 1 or 2 years to get into final shape.... Don't waste ur valuable time on this issue, final notification will come within 2 weeks.......

Dear Seniors
I have taken a new employee, she has to get registered in ESIC. Her husband is working in Private Company and already registered her name in ESIC. Now my question is whether she has to register again from my company OR she can continue with her husband registration.
I think father in Laws and Mother in Laws will not cover in ESIC please correct me if i was wrong.

Yes.........Ur interpretation is correct........Inlaws will not be come in the definition of family under ESIC.........
Further regarding wife and husband and other relations...........one thing u keep in mind........One an employee works with you means there was a bond of MASTER and SERVANT relation as far as company is concerned.............So these husband and wife relations are at HOME only.......... Finally what i conclude is she should be registered mandatory under ESI in your company, though she was entitled for medical benefit under her Husband ESI Card...............(but she is not entitled for Cash Benefits under her Husband Card)..........
Hope u understood the issue..........all the best.........
