Sir / madam,

I am Naveenkumar.m working as a tooling engineer in an MNC Company. I am a mechanical engineering graduate. In my company i am working in tool maintenance workshop.

The nature of my section is to repair the tool and support production.

In that i am looking after purchase there. If any used material is over, I have to look it of and inform to purchase department to buy that material by giving it detail speciofication.

I need to enrich more my knowledge there. but i don't get any technical support over the person here. because they all are only diplomas and ITI.

If any one knows give me a clear idea to how to improve my sustaintablity over here.

keeping my brain ideal; is a big torture to me.. please help[ me)

Dear Naveenkumar M,
If you are Mechanical Engineer then you must have studied operations research (OR). If you have studied OR then you must have studied models of inventory management. Why don't you implement those OR techniques as a whole or at least models of inventory management.
What knowledge you want to enrich - technical or in purchase. Your post does not clarify it.
If you wish to enrich your knowledge in Purchase Management then I can help you out. I do conduct training programme on Effective Purchase Management. It is simple 1-day workshop.
Confirm to me your city and e-mail ID. We will add you in our mailing list accordingly. The forthcoming batch is at Delhi on April 23, 2010.

Limit of your words is limit of your world

Dear Naveen Kumar,
I wonder whether you have a chip on your shoulder when you say "the others are Diploma holders/ITI". This reminds me of an advice that our professor gave us when we graduated from IISc. He was a working for his PhD in UK and was working on the shopfloor at the same time. To cut the story short, he said "do not think anyone is less qualified than you; be prepared to learn from everyone (even a shopfloor worker). If you approach them properly they will give you a wealth of knowledge from their experience".
Dinesh Divekar has given you sound advice and raised valid questions. Like many bloggers you also have not given enough information to guide you. What do you mean by "give me a clear idea to how to improve my sustaintablity over here." and "keeping my brain ideal; is a big torture to me". Do you feel your position there is threatened? Is not able to keep your brain active while at work a probem?
Have a nice day.
A retired academic in UK.

I also thought to learn from all but they are avoiding me as I am B.E., some one thought I know more.. some body thought if they said it to me, I will override them..
I am working in a tool maintance shop having
1. Electrode design
2.Electrode programming for cnc high speed milling machine
3.High speed milling machine
4.Wire electric discharge machine
5.Electrical discharge machine
7.laser welding machine
8.surface grinding machine
9. trouble shooting solving in injection molds.
do you need any more information to help me..
Just i need to gain knowledge in all these fields and become expert in all this field for that what should i do?

In this age, the best way to learn theory is to search the web for the information. I have learnt a lot that way. However, if you want to learn from the people ar work try being humble. Tell them that you may have a degree but they have experience and you have much to learn from them. I know that it is not easy to break the barrier down; but you can keep trying different strategies.
Where are you from?
Have a nice day.
