Dear Member,
According to this State Act an employee is entitle to have one day EL for every 20 days of work performed by him & he is also entitled to have 12 SL during twelve months. For further details you may go through chapter IV on annual leave with wages(section 14 & 15)for your query.

Thanks RN Khola, But in the S & E Act Karnataka the term "12 Sick Leave" is not used. Do we have any notification or an abstract which specifies the Sick leave or the leave of the employee.? If so, request you to share the copy.

Hi There, I have info that in karnataka EL should be provided 18 per year- i.e, 1.5 per month, Can any give the correct clarification in this regard. Regards, Umesha
