Voluntary pf coverage - registering a new company and transfer of 5 employees to new company?
Dear sir our company registered under epf act. all employees are covered under epf act. now we are registering a new company and transfer our 5 employees in new company. query : 1. we have to register our new company under epf act. or not 2. once a member always a member under epf act. we want a proof of above said condition : circular or scan of rule book please help us to solve it. thanks manish tanwar

One of my friend is a construction contractor and has been engaging less than 20 labours hence epf registration is not mandatory. presently he is working with construction company which is holding his 20 of labour payments on acount of non registration under epf act. the company is telling him to get registered under epf act. he pleaded them that as the no. of workers are not more than 20 epf is not appplicable to him and the construction company can deduct the epf contributions under their pf code. to this the company is saying that it will increase thier workload substantially therfore they will not deduct the pf contributions under their head and is telling the contractor to get registered under it. questions: 1.should the contractor register himself under epf act even though he is not eligible ? 2.what is the other way to get the withheld money back from company ?

Hello experts my sister who is also a hr professional in a company is facing a sec 7a notice and recovery u/s 14 of epf act. the allegation on the given company is that epf has not been paid since 2018. however the given company had given an option to its employees who want to opt out of epf and majority of the employees agreed on the same. thus the given company stopped deducting epf for the employees and told their epf consultant to prepare a reply to the given however the consultant seemed to have not provided the same to the rpfo and now the company has to face the consequences. therefore i need to understand as to what should be approach now in dealing with rpfo as they have put a hefty liability and penalty on the given company. awaiting your valuable suggestion.
Employer liability under workmen compensation act 1923
Hello all greeting to all seniors i am writing to clear my confusion about workmen compensation act 1923.. my question is if any employee who is working in company from last one year and has attained 240 working days in company and covered also under esi and epf act. in above condition accident occurred and he got disability or death now employee is entitled to get compensation paid under esi & epf act or from employer alongwith esi & epf ? by whom employee will get benefit esi & epf organisation or employer also? thanks & regards devendra mohan gaur 7428443274
Whether, contractor has to get his own pf number? under the epf act-15.12.2017
One company has 127 employees on roll and company is covered under epf act. this company has hired a contractor for 56 labour sweeper and labour for garden. there is no need to have labour licence under the act by contractor. contractor has no pf no. my query is whether contractor has to get his own pf number? appreciate your reply supported by section no of the act.
